This course focuses on long-range and precision shooting fundamentals including ballistics,
data management, compensating for distance and wind using knobs and reticle methods,
and shooting technique. It touches on UKD and non-standard field shooting.

c. Application of the fundamentals of marksmanship

g. Zeroing your rifle
h. Engage targets in the field at known distances out to 800 yards
This class culminates in a field exercise that involves shooting a variety of 1-3 MOA targets from field positions. At the NRAWC, the third day of the class is the Sporting Rifle Match.
