Please refer to the product information page for general information including barrel length and cartridge restrictions: ULTRA50RR-BSR Product Info.
Please refer to TBAC General Suppressor Instructions & Safety Information.
Although the ULTRA50RR-BSR uses the "Big-SR" mount, the SR Series Suppressor Instruction Manual applies to this suppressor as well. The BSR is just larger than the SR mount.
Only a qualified gunsmith shall install the BSR Brake onto the rifle threads. The "BRAKE MOUNTING VERIFICATION" form included with each BSR brake shall be filled out and signed by the gunsmith. The last step of mounting the BSR Brake on the barrel is measuring the runout of the ULTRA50RR-BSR when mounted on the brake, compare to the bore axis. Failure of a qualified gunsmith to install the BSR brake and fill out the form properly may void the ULTRA50RR-BSR warranty. BSR muzzle brake installation shall ONLY BE DONE by a qualified gunsmith due to the consequences if mounted incorrectly.
Additionally, in order to mount the M24x1FM brakes on the AI rifles, the face of the muzzle MUST BE faced at a 90 degree angle to the bore line. See thread print for engineering spec. AI rifles do not come from the factory with this surface faced precisely enough for suppressor alignment.
THREAD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ULTRA50RR-BSR MUZZLE DEVICE MOUNTING
Failure to SCREW THE SUPPRESSOR FULLY ON THE BRAKE before locking the SR/BSR collar WILL CAUSE YOUR SUPPRESSOR TO BE LAUNCHED and WILL DAMAGE THE SUPPRESSOR and MAY CAUSE INJURY.
The LOCKING COLLAR is NOT what holds the suppresor on the rifle.
Here is a video demonstrating shooting the 338 ULTRA SR without the locking collar.

Damage from failing to mount the suppressor properly is not covered under warranty.
The following numbered instructions are engraved on the suppressor and must be followed to mount the suppressor properly. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE YOUR SUPPRESSOR TO BE LAUNCHED and WILL DAMAGE THE SUPPRESSOR and MAY CAUSE INJURY.
** BEFORE CONTINUING, VERIFY THE RIFLE IS UNLOADED AND SAFE. **
STEPS
1. TURN COLLAR TO UNLOCK POINT
2. HOLDING SUPPRESSOR BODY,
SCREW SUPPRESSOR ON
(7+ TURNS TO SHOULDER)
3. TURN COLLAR TO LOCK REGION
4. CHECK GO/NOGO LINE ON BRAKE
Finally, Verify the module (if present) and RR brake are both tight.
Only the word "GO" is visible on brake (bottom of photo- on black brake). This indicates the suppressor is fully screwed on and locked.
If the word NOGO is visible (see bottom of photo- on black brake), at all, on the brake, this indicates the suppressor is NOT MOUNTED PROPERLY. DO NOT FIRE.
MOUNTING BEST PRACTICE
Once rifle is verified unloaded and safe,
stand the rifle vertically between your knees.
Use both hands to screw
the suppressor onto the BSR brake.
Turn it the 7+ turns until it shoulders solidly on the brake shoulder.
Once the
suppressor hits the shoulder of the muzzle device, back the suppressor
off slightly and, using two hands, snap the suppressor firmly onto the
shoulder of the muzzle device.
Finally, turn the collar to the lock
region and check the Go/NoGo Line on the Muzzle Brake
It is NOT recommended to tighten the suppressor body or collar additionally when the unit is HOT. Doing so may cause a dramatic increase in the torque required to remove the suppressor later.
Clean the "inside taper" before mounting module or RR brake.
Clean the "outside taper" before mounting module or RR brake.
