INSTALLATION OF RR BRAKE

  1. Verify weapon is unloaded and safe
  2. Clean the tapered mating surfaces on the last baffle of the suppressor and the RR Brake.
    • To clean use a Q-Tip dipped in CLR or gun solvent to clean any carbon on the tapered mating surfaces
    • Once clean using a second Q-Tip apply a thin layer of Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Lube to the tapered surfaces (as seen below)
  3. Screw the locking ring onto the suppressor until you feel it start to snug. At this point you should be able to orientate the RR Brake to the rifle in the orientation of your choosing. If not loosen the locking ring and try again
  4. Once orientated, tap the end of the RR Brake with the palm of your hand towards the suppressor
  5. Tighten the locking ring with the included wrench
    • Do not overtighten -Any time you change the orientation of the RR Brake it is suggested that you fully remove the RR Brake from the suppressor and double check that the mating surfaces are clean. It is possible that when you reorientate the RR Brake that carbon in the last chamber will come free and land in between the mating surfaces

Clean the "inside taper" before mounting module or RR brake.

Clean the "outside taper" before mounting module or RR brake.
