I just got my cz back from the smith and noticed that the threads are .500 long instead of .400. Is this going to work or do I need to have him change it? I really don't want to use a washer.

    Hi,

No, it will be problematic because the furthest 0.1" will stick out into the suppressor, collect carbon, and then be hard or impossible to unscrew.

The easiest fix it just to turn down the first 0.1" of threads (the muzzle end) to the minor diameter.

    hope this helps
    Zak
